I cut soda out about 3 yrs ago. Well, I say cut it out, but it's more like I let myself have it only once a month or so.
But it's the only thing that's helping my MS. I am having sprite every night! Anyone else? I keep reminding myself that each can is 4million tbsp of sugar or whatever it is, but in my current state, it's all I can stomach.
What's working for you? I will take any and all suggestions

Re: Let's discuss: morning sickness remedies
Sour candies!!
And I might look for that tea. Even though the thought of anything mint makes me heave, I'll try anything.
Ginger trips are gross but seem to help a little.
I hope today was a one-off, peak day or something. Felt awful alllllll day.

My Blog: Naturally Mindful
Although I didn't have it bad last time and it hasn't really kicked in yet this time, my tricks are trying to eat every couple of hours (it's ALWAYS worse when hungry and in fact the only time I was sick during my last pregnancy were on an empty stomach), if you are liking sprite maybe try some lemon perrier? Because that has the carbonation and a little bit of lemon flavoring in it? I am a fan of the grapefruit perrier and enjoy a glass every night in a wine glass, makes me feel sophisticated bwahaha! I'd also find a candy you like, even jolly ranchers work for some and keep them handy (purse, at your desk at work, etc).
The only thing that worked for me with DD is saltines. I would have one saltine every twenty minutes and that helped.
But, wouldn't you know, doesn't work for this one. Haven't discovered what does yet.

Sep14 February Siggy Challenge: Favorite Romantic Movie - A Knight's Tale
Happily welcomed healthy baby girl December 2011.
Excited to welcome a new addition September 2014!
Yep. Eat. When my stomach is empty, I feel like I want to hurl. Food helps curb it...until my stomach is empty again.
Sigh. 2nd tri please?!

I'm already being told I'm having a girl based on baby's hb of 157 yesterday. We'll find out in September!
I had acupuncture this afternoon and the guy gave me these little pressure point things for my ears. They're like tiny bandaids with little blunt pokey things that I'm supposed to squeeze when I feel queasy. Not sure if they work or not, but my metro/bus ride home wasn't bad and that's usually when my m/s is the worst.
Last time I did B6 supplements and I think they helped a lot. I had sea bands but they didn't do much for me. This time I got the PsiBands - they're the same concept but you can tighten them more to get more pressure on the acupressure points, so I'm hoping they work better.
Otherwise, protein worked well for me last time (greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs, etc as snacks), and making sure my stomach didn't get empty. Ice water seems to help, too, and sour candy.
