Hi ladies. I'm 11 weeks pp and have actually managed to gain weight since delivery and I'm only bf. I've started a bootcamp for pp ladies and re-joined weight watchers. I'm at a loss. Has this happened to any of you? I'm so confused.
I want to loose weight but I have been battling low supply almost my entire bf journey, so I plan to just diet after a year. I guess a couple pounds for a couple months is less important to me than bf.
When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.
I'm eating the extra points allotted for bf. The "bootcamp" that I joined is for postpartum women and isn't too intense. And id be ok with a few extra pound but every week I just keep on gaining and I'm starting to worry about my general well being.
I gained weight pp instead of losing. It struggled to gain weight during both my pregnancies and once I started bfing, I gained weight rapidly. It took me almost a year to lose weight after I weaned DD1 at 13 months. The first time I didnt work out but this time I am (erratically unfortunately). I did find that my supply dips when I work out intensely (was doing MMA for fitness). So now I am trying to eat better which is difficult. I come from a culture that thinks bfing mothers should eat eat eat for the baby and take it easy (cant complain about that but I still look 6 month pregnant at 4 months post partum). You are not alone.
