So... I am a little nervous! I pumped this morning for 15-20mins. and DID.NOT have a let down ![]()
In the history of me breastfeeding/pumping this has NEVER happened (I normally can get 10-12oz. in 15-20mins. in the am). Is this a sign that my supply is tanking? I have noticed that over the past month it has slightly gone down, and I have been just pumping enough to keep up with what DS eats at daycare. AND last week AF visited me for the first time post-partum.
I'm getting sad... I really wanted to have the choice to stop breastfeeding NOT because my body gave up. Perhaps I am overreacting, but I am really bummed/nervous/sad.
Re: Breastfeeders/Pumpers: Come In
Ditto Tiff on checking the parts. Is there a hole in the membrane? Is it attached correctly? Check to make sure your connections are tight.
I'd also try pumping for longer. Sometimes it takes me 25-30 minutes to get my full amount.
