DH, you must have bumped your head ...

... bc you're crazy. I am so not even thinking of another baby.

 

Last night I was looking at the calendar and realized I need a refill on my birth control. DH said not to bother with it bc he wants another. Ummm no. Not anytime soon anyway. This was so random. Sure we've talked about more kids, but with 45% of his paycheck going to cs and with daycare fees, we've talked about waiting a few years. I've heard that once you've had your baby, you forget about the labor pains and pregnancy issues (in our case we had some). I just didn't expect him to get baby fever already.

 

Anyone else have a DH/SO say something that threw you off?

    Mine has thrown out the "We could go for a girl in a couple years" thing. Um, no. I'm already 37 and my ute is closed for business.

    DH wants another too. I'm a one and done girl! I hit perfection the first time :). That and it's really expensive to have a child where I live

    Funny my DH is just the opposite.  Since he already has a 5 year old daughter that's a handful, he wants to wait a minimum of 5 years before having another. 

    I used to think I wanted kids about 2 years apart, but after going through pregnancy, labor and the newborn stage I am definitely  on the same page as him now!

    Yeah he wants another one. We already had a pregnancy scare and it reaffirmed my decision to wait awhile, DH was excited though and was hoping I was!!

    Mine is the opposite and I'm glad he is!  We have always only wanted 2 and he's still firm on that.  If he wasn't he might be able to convince me to have another (not quite yet, but not too far apart).  But I know that 2 is perfect for us and that's why I'm glad that I know he won't initiate it!

    I think DH and I are on agreement with this subject for now. We both want to wait a couple more years before trying for number two.

    DH and I say we just want two, but then he will mention a great baby name that he likes or how if it weren't for our medical issues he'd want to go for three. I ask him if he is sure he just wants two and he says yes but I suspect he'd like one more. I'm okay with either as long as no TTC until DD is at least 1.
