Opinions on these pumps please?

Hi ladies,

My insurance will cover one of the following pumps for me. I used a Medela PISA in the past and loved it but it's not an option for me through insurance. I'm googling and whatnot for more information, but I'd love opinions if you've used any of these:

  • I have a hygeia enjoye and a medela pump in style advance. I like the hygeia best.

  • Definitely the hygeia. It is hospital grade, adjustable speed and suction, and also compatible with medela parts which you probably already have. I just got one as a second pump through my insurance and prefer it over my pisa.

  • I have the hygeia. Used medela freestyle with 1st baby. Like the hygeia better. Get more milk out with hygeia than the freestyle

  • I have a hygeia and I exclusively pump so I use it a lot (obviously)! I think it's a great pump.

  • I asked in another site that has a couple of lc. The hands down winner was the hygiea.

They also said the medela offered by the insurance companies aren't the same as youcanget in the stores.

Awesome, thanks for the replies! I was the most unsure of that one, because I hadn't heard of it before, but it seems to overwhelmingly be the favorite. And I only need to be pumping when I'm at work, so not that often.
