I am 20 weeks on Saturday. Since my son and daughter both came at 38 weeks my doctor thinks that's a good possibility again. So fingers crossed I don't have to go to 40 weeks. The end of may sounds good to me.
I was thinking about this last night! I'm 17 weeks and it's a good chance I could deliver at 34 weeks (I'd really like to make it to 35 and really, really like to make it to 37!). It seems so crazy. There's so much to do!! It's gone by so fast though, I love it!
I remember with my first, every week seemed to take foreverrrr. This time it is warping by and I kind of hate it! I just don't feel like we've done anything and I'm already sad about my DD no longer being the center of attention. I'm such a loser, but I remember that episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians when Kourtney's water breaks with her second. She was in tears because of the same thing and I remember thinking how weird it was. Now I totally get it!
I'm almost 17 weeks and it does feel like it's flown by. We still have 5 weeks until our a/s, though, so sometimes time feels like it's standing still when I think about that part, haha.
This pregnancy seems to be flying by way faster than my first. Not that that pregnancy dragged or anything, but this one is crazy. Might have something to do with chasing around a toddler at the same time.
Just wait though, the last month or two can get pretty long.
Yeah with my DD it seemed like forever but thats probably because I was anxious as a FTM. Now I have her to occupy my time. The last few months will drag again im sure but I went early last time so we shall see!

One of my friends just had twins and she made it to 38 weeks and actually started going into labor on her own! She did ultimately have a c-section, but 38 weeks with twins is awesome!! You'll get there, just take care of yourself :-)

I've been saying how I think it's dragging and then I stop and think that of I make it all the way, I'm still having a scheduled csection either during week 38 or 39. That's when if hits me of really how quickly it's going. So excited!
I am almost 17 weeks. With this being my first pregnancy I thought it would drag on but it seems to be going by so fast! But I do hear the second half usually feels longer than the first.
I'm glad to be almost halfway, but does anyone else find this thread to be in poor taste since it keeps appearing over the thread about the woman losing her 20 week old?
That def wasnt my intention. Its just like the A/S posts as everyone is excited that they have seen their LO. I just had mine so I am just excited. Not trying to upset anyone. I apologize if it did

Im not halfway either. Im only 19 weeks tomorrow but to me thats close enough! Once everyone hits 18.5 weeks, that could be considered halfway due to the doctors allowing or not caring if you go into labor!

Not saying it was your intention, just saying that someone is losing their baby at 20 weeks and the thread directly above it is, "Yay look at us for making it". Just wanted to point out that that not everyone is having a good day today.
Im sorry. I can delete this post. I didnt mean to upset anyone!
Kels?!
FWIW, that poster is NOT losing her baby. She has received some bad news but there is hope for her little guy.
No one came on here shaming happy posts when saltypearl and chance_encounters had really, really bad days. Bad days happen and my heart is still breaking for those ladies, but that doesn't mean that I'm not excited to still be pregnant today.
ETA: I also don't think it's fair to say another poster is losing their baby when they may not be. If I were that poster I would be more upset to read someone posting that I'm losing my son than to see other women happy to have reached a milestone.
That is how I feel. I am devastated for those ladies but I cant help that I am excited for my baby. I just dont want to start anyhting on here as I am not here for drama or controversery.

I'm 19w1 day, so definitely close enough to say "half way there."
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THIS IS TERRIFYING? Like, "Dear, god, no way is that long enough for me to be ready." Not in getting stuff or material way, just in the "mega life change and financial strain" issues.

Out of respect for the women dealing with these challenges, maybe you guys should take this to a PM.
Ahhh, I can't believe my first pregnancy is about halfway over! I have SO much I need to accomplish yet before LO arrives but bring it on because I can't wait to meet him/her!!! It's SO exciting! And I'm fierce glad I'm beginning to look pregnant! Good luck to everyone as they continue on from here!! Blessings to everyone!
