So I held off of posting my 1st beta results until I got my 2nd.  So here it goes:

1st beta at 15dpo: hcg - 191, progesterone - 23

2nd beta at 17dpo: hcg - 545, progesterone - 23

I'm so relieved.  Now, I have to wait for my dating u/s.  The doctor suggested I wait a week and a half at a minimum (so sometime between 6 and 7 weeks).  I think I would rather wait a little closer to the end of my 6th week (so 2 weeks and change).  Time is dragging, so I am sure it will be the longest wait ever at this point.

    Those are great numbers!! I had my first u/s at 6w5d and I think that was a good choice, so if you opt to go that route, I think it's a good idea. At that point you pretty much know you should see something. :)

    Yay for great numbers!! This waiting game in the first tri is not for the faint of heart!

    Off BC, NTNP since June 2011

    Started acupuncture/herbs July 2012 

    First BFP 9-8-2012,EDD 5-15-2013, heartbeat of 175 at 8w2d, mmc discovered on 10-26-12 (11w6d) Cytotec on 10/26/12

    8/23/13 DX with non-IR PCOS

    Second BFP 9.12.13, EDD 5.29.14, heartbeat of 114 at 6w1d, mmc discovered on 10-18-13, D&C on 10/23/13 (baby girl/Trisomy 10) 

    Third BFP (surprise at Beta draw after d&c) on 1/10/14 (15dpo), EDD 9.20.14 Please be our RAINBOW!

    Those are great numbers! I had my first ultrasound at 5w6d and was nervous it would be to early. But we actually got to see a heartbeat which was a nice surprise :). Fx first ultrasound goes well for you!
    BFP #1 7/23/12: EDD 4/1/13.  MMC discovered on 9/4/12 @ 10w1d
    BFP# 2 3/9/13:  EDD 11/12/13 m/c 3/15/13 @ 5w3d
    RPL testing shows one copy of MTHFR gene mutation. 
     BFP#3 12/24/13: EDD 9/5/14 Beta #1 13 DPO 168! Beta #2 16 DPO 895!
     First US 1/9/14 @ 5w6d Strong HB!
    2nd US 1/23/14 @ 7w6d baby is still doing great! 3rd US 1/31/14  9w0d: Beautiful wiggly baby! Keep growing baby!

I say I don't believe in superstitions, but I'm starting to get a little superstitious about that u/s day being good luck. But really, it's a good middle ground where you should be seeing something definitive.

    Great numbers! I had my first u/s at 7 weeks based on ovulation and 7 week 3days on LMP. My ob's office wanted it the week before but I pushed for a later date. I wanted there to be no question about seeing the heartbeat. I also new I had ovulated a few days late even though my ob's office wasn't worried about it I knew it could totally change what we saw. So while the wait was excruciating it was worth it to see that great hb and have no question about things being ok at that point.

    That's so exciting! I know it will be hard to wait, but you don't want to end up like me. lol I went in too early, and now I've been waiting 2 weeks to hopefully find out some good news...

    Congrats on the great numbers! I know waiting for the 2nd ones can be torture. I had my u/s earlier this week at 6w1d and was able to see the little heartbeat so I think if you wait a little longer you should be good as well. :)
