We all know that but what are you looking forward to? What are some things that you're looking forward to not having to do anymore or a phase you can't wait to experience. Me personally I will be super happy when I don't have to suck snot out of his nose anymore. I don't mind the boogers it's just the nose bulbs. That is the most useless thing ever. What are you looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to LO playing by himself. It seems like we hold him so much now and have to entertain him most of the time. When he's awake I feel like I can't leave the room.

I'm a pro at sucking boogers and snot out of LO with the bulb. The man tries, but just doesn't have the right touch.

I'm looking forward for him to burp better on his own. Sometimes it takes an act of god to get a burp out of him.

Oh I agree with the burping! I hate burping LO and it's always a fight to get it done. Usually H has to do it something about his hands being bigger he can get the burp out.

Us too! My BF can burp him like there's no tomorrow. I usually just get thrown up on. No burp for me. *sad panda*

I know it sounds lame, but I'm enjoying every possible second. I feel like I missed so much with DS. (Single mom working and going to school) I want to cherish every second because before I know it she will be a teenager too.

I can't wait for him to sit up on his own. His little head is getting a flat spot.

I swear he is held all the time too! I don't know what to do.

I just had my LO at the ped today because I noticed one side was getting flat (I noticed her ears were off first, then saw the head was not symmetrical). She never favors one side and I've actually noticed she sleeps to the non flat side so I was really surprised. Recommendation is more tummy time, which she does not like and we were only doing a total of 20-30minutes a day broken up. Ped told me she needs more at this age and we should see improvement.

I am so overwhelmed and exhausted and often so frustrated that I really am not enjoying much right now. I often find myself wishing this first year was over. I'm looking forward to a time when they can entertain themselves a little longer and take longer, more predictable naps.

I love watching her grow but it is so hard at the same time. I can't wait for hugs, and tickles! She's sensative now so it seems a safe bet that she'll be ticklish. Oh and hair. Girl needs some hair on top.

I can't wait for so many things! I tell my husband everyday something new I can't wait for and then right after I say "I need to chill out and enjoy this time!" I already miss my tiny baby snuggling up on my chest. Sigh.

Are your LOs in the swing or RnP a lot? If so, that would account for the flat spot. They can't move their heads back and forth like they should. Range of motion is very limited in those things. Try putting them flat on their backs under an activity gym. If they are not in swings and co all the time then I have no idea

The only thing I really can't wait for is to take dd to the beach and pool. Other than that I love watching her grow and have been enjoying every day. she is growing way too fast and I know I'll miss these days.

The other thing is she was born the day before my birthday. It'll be exciting to celebrate our birthdays together.

Unlike all the people (most men) who hate the "baby stage", I am and have enjoyed every stage with both DDs (2yr & 3mo). I am looking forward to them playing together and being more interactive. Right now is super cute but a little more one-way except for DD2 smiling and laughing at DD1. I am looking forward to their conversations.

My LO doesn't like his swing so we haven't used it since he was 3 weeks old or something. And we only tried it a few times. He's been sleeping in his crib for a few weeks. He mostly plays piano, plays with his other jungle mat, hangs out on his changing pad and hangs out in the tub. Other than that he's being held! I ordered the noggin nest from target because of the amazing reviews. Hopefully it will help.

I can't wait until he smiles when I walk into the room after a long day at work. I realize this might be the stage when he also starts to "get" that I'm leaving, too, which might make that part harder, buuuut we'll get through it.

Oh, and sitting up! He's trying so hard to right now and when he gets that mastered, it's gonna be awesome.

I love when they belly laugh and put their arms up to get picked up. I also can't wait for talking. I loved watching DD1 learn words and phrases.

I have 2 but my oldest is almost 4 and I was pretty overwhelmed the first month or 2. I cannot imagine how overwhelmed you must be!! Hang in there! Your doing great! Hugs!!

Nope, my LO has been sleeping in her crib since 3 weeks and she does the activity mat the most every day. She does nap in the swing about an 1-2 a day, so maybe. But we really need more tummy time.
