Weeks: 38 weeks today! 1w4d to go before my 1/27 induction, WOOT!

Team: Pink!

Updates: As of my appt last Friday, I was 6cm and 80+%. We also decided on my induction date of 1/27, because I wanted to wait for my OB to do it herself (she gave me the option of 1/23 or 1/24 as well, but with another OB at the practice.) I will get my official induction orders tomorrow at my appointment. I also have another BPP tomorrow as well.

Also, TODAY IS MY LAST DAY IN THE OFFICE!! My boss told me I can work from home next week so that I'm more comfortable... woo hoo! I'm sad to leave but excited at the same time.

To Do's: I did almost everything last weekend. The only thing I have left is to wash the swing and car seat covers and install the carseat. Easy Peasy. Everything else is done.

GTKY: I'm most looking forward to meeting my daughter for the first time and hearing her sweet little cry after birth. After that, I can't wait to see her with her daddy and brothers and sister.

Weeks: 39!!

Updates: feeling a lot of movement lower so hopefully that's a good sign. My ob/mw hasn't done any cervical checks so I don't know where I stand and it is driving my dh and mom crazy.

To Do's: still need to get the car seat installed and will probably need to buy a new car this week after dh got rear ended horribly last week.

GTKY: What moment are you looking forward to most post-delivery? I can't wait to see dh melt.

Updates: had an ultrasound yesterday to confirm baby was head down. Drs appointment tomorrow

To dos: get my house organized a bit. Find and clean my pump

I am. 38 weeks today. CS in 7 days if I don't go into labor on my own before hand. Updates:My husband/anchor in every way has bronchitis. We find out today in my amazing dr will allow him in surgery. Husbands dr gave him a Z pak of antibiotics but it's my dr.s call. As for now he is sleeping in another room to keep me & my 2 daughters from catching it.

Weeks: 38 weeks

Team: Pink sooo excited for all the hair bows

Updates: Went to the OB yesterday and I am dilated to a 1, -3 stage, and 40-50% effaced. Not nearly as far as I would like to be at this point, but pretty much the same as I was with DS at this point.

To Do's: Like @mrsjenni I got quite a bit of my to do's done last weekend, but still have just a few left. I have all of DS, LO, and my clothes and misc stuff laid out with a bag for each of us, but have not filled the bags. I like to have it all out to look at to see if there is anything I want to add or take out. I also have a list of last minutes for DS and I that we are still using such as his dinosaur and blanket for me stuff like my make up and pillow. We till need to install the carseat, set up the pnp (did find all the pieces finally!!), get DS a haircut. DH is going to be home this weekend so he said he will knock those all out Sat morning. All I have to do is fold and put away DS and I's laundry for this week:) For now it's just waiting for baby girl.

GTKY: Well if DH does not make it for the birth than it will be introducing him to his daughter. If he does make it than it will be introducing DS to his baby sister. Either way I feel like this little girl is going to have my boys wrapped around her finger from the moment they meet. DH is of course excited to be a daddy again, but it amazes me how much DS talks about his sister. I know a lot of what he says about her is made up like when he says my sister likes this or that, but it is still very sweet.

It's pretty quiet around here!

Weeks: 38

Team: Blue

Updates: After 2 weeks of being high and closed (or as my OB put it, locked up tight), my cervix is finally getting into gear! I'm only dilated 1 cm, but it's progress!

To Do's: I think we are pretty much done with our prep. I am going to re-pack my hospital bag tonight just to make sure I have everything, then put that sucker in my trunk. DH also needs to help me with the infant car seat. I installed it last night, but I need his man strength to make sure it's tight enough.

GTKY: What moment are you looking forward to most post-delivery? The moment he is handed to me. I get teary just thinking about it

Weeks: 41 - she is way tardy for the party!

Team: Pink!

Updates: I go in tonight at 8pm to be induced ... I should have a baby tomorrow!!!! Yesterday at the dr appt I was just shy of being dilated to 2 and 60% effaced still. Ready to have this little girl!

GTKY: I get to see and hold my daughter! I just can't wait to see her little face!!! And then I am excited to see my DH and Mom with her!

Weeks: 40 weeks

Updates: Appt today and will check my cervix again. Last week, it was fully closed. Hope today theres some progress. If not, Kaiser will let me go 10 days past due before inducing.

To Do's: We still havent installed the car seat. >.<

GTKY: What moment are you looking forward to most post-delivery? Just finally being able to hold her and cuddle her.

Weeks: 38

Team: Blue

Updates: I had super low blood pressure at my appt last week (89/50) which freaks me out, am I dead??? My doctor didn't seem concerned at all and just said it was better than having high blood pressure. I think I'm okay with that, but I would like to know what caused it because I have been feeling pretty faint. Also, my fiance is sick as heck with a cold and I've been trying to quarantine him so I don't get sick. I really don't want to get sick just in time to go into labor (I usually stay sick for at least a good 7+ days when I get sick). Soooooo, YIKES.

To Do's: Nothing, just keep the house clean and keep working on grad student stuff up until labor starts. Hopefully sooner than later

GTKY: What moment are you looking forward to most post-delivery? I'm looking forward to ALL OF THE MUSH. like holding my first little baby for the first time, and seeing him in his daddy's arms. I'm also looking forward to the moment I taste beer again.

Updates: Have been feeling more crampy lately and my hips can just fall off my body at this point for all I care. However I'm not feeling like labor is coming any time soon, I bet I'll be doing the check in for the next two (maybe even 3) weeks.

To Do's: Nada, I think we've got everything ready. I mean I could clean stuff but MIL has told me when she comes to help she will do that so I'll probably just leave the tub scrubbing and such to her.

GTKY: What moment are you looking forward to most post-delivery? Holding my little guy for the first time and watching DH become an awesome daddy!

Weeks: 38, team green, FTM

Updates: No change in my cervix since my appointment last week. Baby measured 7 lbs in the growth US, which was surprising. I was expecting baby to be much bigger but am relieved that I have a "normal" (so said my OB) sized baby. I didn't want to have a 12 lb baby come out of my who-ha. GBS negative.

To Do: STILL put the car seat in the car. Put the bags in the car.

GTKY: getting to meet and hold this little one, see my husband be a dad, and me be a mom!

Updates: gestational hypertension $:\$ my BP is a little too irregular the past 2 weeks no meds or crazy measures yet. also tomorrow will be my last day at work

To Do's: i have to buy a bp monitor and start checking it, spend more time laying on my left and the top of my to do list is def have a baby!

GTKY: What moment are you looking forward to most post-delivery? meeting my munchkin! and i have plans to do my photos myself already got some cute hats with flowers, etc

Updates: my c section and tubal is scheduled for 8 am Monday morning. I'm so excited to not be pregnant anymore!

To do: finished grocery shopping today, and got my mani/pedi and eyebrows waxed..I don't think, baby related, there is anything left.

GTKY: meeting and seeing this little lady. I can't wait to see if her personality in utero matches her outside self.

Weeks: 39 - slacker though for checking in a day late.

Team: Pink

Updates: Had OB appointment this morning. I'm a stretchy 2-3cm but cervix is still thick.

To Do's: Bag is only partially packed and still need to install the base for the car seat.

GTKY: What moment are you looking forward to most post-delivery? Introducing DD to her new sister! We talk about it all the time now but being that she's only 2.5, I don't think she really "gets" it. I'm so excited to see that initial reaction.
