My rainbow arrived! XP from Jan2014

I am a little late to post this over here, but I have been busy with my rainbow 
Short version: our baby girl, Peyton, was born at 1 PM last Thursday, weighing 7 pounds 1 ounce and 19 inches.
Long version: we arrived at the hospital about 7AM. But I was still in early labor so they had me walk around for awhile. We officially checked into our room about 10. I tried to take a little nap but about 11 I gave up and moved to the tub.
I stayed there awhile. Then got out around 12:20PM. Nurse checked me and I was a 6. I was a little surprised that's all because it was so intense! About a half hour later the nurse thought it sounded like I was pushing so she checked again and I was fully dilated! She told the doctor to hurry!! Especially once my husband told her I pushed for "a long 15 minutes" with our first. Doctor arrived, I pushed like 3 times. Stopping once so dr could cut the bag of water open - I have heard it's pretty rare for a baby to be born like this, it's called an en caul delivery and is supposed to be good luck. But I already knew I was lucky to have her.
We are home and doing good. She's so beautiful and I am so in love!!
