I am wondering if anyone has one of these car seats in a smaller car & if it fits alright rear-facing. My husband has a smaller sedan and since it looks like we are going to have to order it online I want to make sure it is doable!
We have 2 of these seats RFing in a Dodge Dart. We have one behind the driver and one behind the passenger. The angle adjuster makes it to where nobody is uncomfortable or unsafe. They fit wonderfully.
We have a dodge dart, a tiny compact 4 door sedan, and the diono fits in the middle, and once I installed the angle adjuster it fit even better, it doesn't block the seats from moving back at all!
Did you make sure that it can be installed in the middle seat? We have 2 of these in SO's and I'm fairly certain the middle seat isn't a good place for car seats. I'd have to check the manual, but I'm thinking it's not.
ETA it seems I am incorrect. You can, but only 2 latch seats. Which is why I was confused :P.
When we first got out radian we had a Hyundai Elantra, and it was behind the passenger seat. The seat had to be all the way forward (without the angle adjuster), so we used our other vehicle when we went places as a family - but it was fine for me going to/from work and taking DD to daycare. I sucked it up because I knew it was a great seat, and that she would be able to use the angle adjuster after 2 months. No regrets here! But know that you might be in my situation depending on your actual car.
