CA and other warm climate Moms

What does your baby wear these days? I had been dressing DS in a short sleeve onsie underneath a one piece footed outfit kinda like this.


But DS seems to get very hot. I was always told dress them in one more layer than we wear but it seems like it may be too much. 

what do you do? it is 70 degrees here today.

    Long sleeve onsie, pants and a hat is our main attire. When leaving I add an A&A muslin receiving blanket on top of her. Other option is the footed sleeper but without a shirt underneath.

    Ok thanks. DD and now DS seem to run hot like my DH. I am always cold.

    In FL, been doing a long sleeved onesie with pants. A hat if it's windy.

    At night a gown or footed pjs with an onesie underneath. Fleece pjs if it's chilly, her RNP is close to a window.

    I live in Florida and LO is usually in a short sleeve onesie or t-shirt and diaper. She runs really hot and gets sweaty easily. She seems happiest with less clothes. When she's sleeping we just put a light swaddle blanket around her.

    Southwest Florida here and lo wears a short sleeved onsie and pants with socks most days. On windy days it's a long sleeved onsie. At night its either a heavy or light sleeper with feet.

    At night she's in a sleeper, cotton terry or fleece depending on the weather (tonight she will be in fleece with a long sleeve onesie as it's supposed to be in the 30s...!). On top of the sleeper she has a cotton SwaddleMe or cotton Halo sleep sack. During the day, so long as she doesn't spit up or have a blowout, she stays in the sleeper she wore to bed. Sometimes we make it to a onesie and socks or footless onesie outfit with socks. Hat when we go outside to block wind or sun. She's still in NB clothes and we only have one "outfit", hence mostly sleepers.

    Lol @cashingn2 today is atypical. I live in south Florida! Last week was insane...Tuesday it was in the 40s, Wednesday it was 80, Thursday-Friday was torrential downpours with record breaking flooding and damage, and Saturday was balmy sunny and warm in the 70s.

    Today LO was is his diaper and an A&A blanket til his temp went down. Usually he is in a short sleeve onsie during the day and when we go on our night walks a footed pj sleeper. He runs hot though so I tend to use only onsies. We are in long beach ca

    I'm in central Florida, baby has been wearing short sleeve onsie, pants and socks. There were a couple cold days that I put her in fuzzy sleepers with a hat. At night it's a gown with the halo swaddle. She is like me and is extremely hot natured.

    Florida here too ! She is in short sleeve onsies 70 degrees and above . Below that I put pants on her and as it drops she gets more clothes (add a blanket if you need. I think she runs hot like me. I have all theses long sleeve onsies from the baby shower and we barely wear them. The next few days will he cold so we can whip them out but then it's hot again by the end of the weekend

    I'm in Nor Cal and it's mid 70s here.  I put Cody in long sleeve onsies and pants or long sleeve sleepers.  I have some cute outer wear outfits for him but he isn't going to be wearing them and will out grow them with this kind of weather.  bummer because I really like them.

    It was 88F here today and got up to 110 last week. LO is permanently in just a singlet and his nappy. That's what we call them here I've attached a pic , its just a sleavless top. if it gets a bit cooler he has some little short sleved onsies
