Cheaper car seat

I need to buy 2 new car seats for the babysitter and for my MIL they currently are using ones that were given to me by a friend but they will expire soon so I was wondering if anyone has a cheaper car seat they can recommend. They don't drive with DD a lot but still they need car seats for her in case they do. Right now I have a britax marathon and DH has a evenflo symphony I think it is. I like them both but I was looking to spend $100 or less for the ones I buy for the babysitter and my MIL. Thanks!!

    I also have the Safety 1st guide 65. I thought it was pretty easy to install, though it did take me a minute to figure out how to move the headrest. DD likes the seat, and it doesn't break the bank. I would have liked a fancier seat, but really safety is what's important and I couldn't afford some of the nicer brand names.

    I definitely want to get the babysitter one since lacee is there everyday just in case she needs to run out or something. My MIL may have to share with us or buy her own depending on prices. Thank you for the article though I'll read it now

    The cosco scenera is the least expensive one I know of. As long as your baby isn't very tall, I seem to remember it having short top slots but I also might be thinking if a different seat.

    We bought the Evenflo Sureride 65 on Amazon. It was a little less than it is showing now, but for a lot of the seats on there the pink/girl ones are a lot less.
