Feeling like the watched pot...

So I am 39w1d today and my OB said I'm 3-4 cm dilated already. I've had false labor and have had ongoing, and increasingly intense, Braxton hicks contractions. I feel like the watched pot that doesn't boil! It's so hard not to analyze every cramp, pain, and twinge- it's like the first trimester again! I also can't seem to stop myself from googling every symptom again and see if its a sign of labor! It's so hard to stay busy and keep my mind off of things. Any suggestions? TIA!
Me:30 low AMH; DH:30 MFI (count, motility, morphology)
2 rounds clomid 100 mg -BFN
IUI#1- 25 mg clomid- July 2012= BFN!
IUI #2 August = BFN!
IUI #3 September = BFN!

IVF #1 November - converted to IUI #4 due to poor response = BFN
IVF #1.2 February- converted to IUI #5 due to poor response = BFN
IVF #1.3 April- micro dose Lupron flare with HGH; 14R, 13M, 11F! Transfer of 1 day 5 blast on 4/30, 4 frosties. BFP! Beta #1 9dp5dt= 179; Beta #2 11dp5dt= 442; Beta #3 4106 Stick baby stick!!

    Oh my goodness!! I am 38 weeks and do the same thing!!! It's great you're 3-4 cm dilated. I'm going to ask my doc to check me on Friday. I also google EVERYTHING. praying this baby comes soon. I'm not sure how much more I can take. I wake up EVERY HOUR to pee. Sometimes every half hour. If my cervix is softening my doc will induce me in a week. ::fingers crossed::

M/C April 2007. :( TTC since 2008 Metformin- Didn't help. :( Clomid 50mg/Provera cycle #1 7/2009 - BFN Clomid 50mg/Provera cycle #2- 8/2009- BFN Clomid 100mg/Provera cycle #3- 1/2010- BFN ...Took a break... 2012- Met with RE 09/12- Day 3 Labs- FSH 2.5, Estradiol 47, TSH 4.5 (Doc re-ordering Day 3 labs) DH sperm analysis- all good 11/12- Day 3 Labs- FSH 4.3, estradiol 38, TSH 2.51 Prescribed Synthroid 11/12- HSG all clear 1/13- IUI with Femara and trigger shot on 1/31- BFN 2/13-IUI #2- cancelled due to low response 3/13- planning IUI with injectables

    I feel like there is no way to not obsess about signs of labor by that point lol hope your wait isn't to much longer!

    Thank you!! You as well! I've been sitting and gently bouncing on an excercise ball. Supposedly it can help.

    I was totally feeling like that the first time around!! I went for a lot of walks, washed laundry, tried to make casseroles to freeze, sat in the nursery and imagined baby in it and caught up on as many of my tv shows as I could. I would totally obsess over every twinge and cramp. A good friend told me "you'll just know!" when I start to feel contractions. Then, the day before my due date, I proclaimed out loud, "That's it! I'm having the baby today!" Doubtful that that made any difference at all, but labor started that night and DD was born on her due date. Sure enough, the cramps started to come in a pattern and low and behold -- contractions!
    Thinking of you this special time! I am so excited for you as you welcome your baby!!

    Ahhhhh! That's is the craziest feeling. I remember feeling like that with DD. I went to 40w3d!

    The cliche is damned true, when you feel it, you will know. For me, my contractions started in the middle of the night. When I woke I thought I had to use the bathroom. When I went in, it was not a productive visit so I went back to bed. I awoke an hour later again in pain. Honestly it felt like I had to go to the bathroom really badly, it was uncomfortable. Finally it hit me that it must have been labor pains because they came frequently. My contractions started at 4am and by 5am they were 5 minutes apart.

    For me, the pain was unreal. The damn contractions lasted a minute and a half each. During that time, I couldn't talk or anything and I had to sit down. DH wasn't able to get me to the hospital until 9am. I just couldn't move quickly and had to sit through every contraction. When I went in, I was admitted at 5cm. :)
