Our LO is 19 weeks and has been rolling tummy-to-back a lot recently, so we have been told that we should get away from swaddling him at night in case he rolls and can't get back. He usually sleeps wrapped in a Halo Swaddle Sack and sleeps pretty well in it at night.
We started with his left arm only out of the swaddle, and he sleeps pretty well early in the night that way, but after his first night feeding his arm flails around the rest of the night and his sleep is very erratic and he wakes himself up all the time.
Even though he is rolling a bit, do you think this is a sign he's not ready to be unswaddled, or is this just a slow painful part of the process that he will eventually figure out? I want him to get god sleep at night, and it seems like having an arm out is really inhibiting his ability to stay asleep.
