Parent magazines!

You know you're a mom when Glamour and Cosmo make you feel really old and you can't relate to any of the articles! 

What parent magazine do you like?

    No kidding!  I look at the cover of Cosmo in the grocery line and the headlines are like "how to look great in just 5 minutes" and I think to myself.. "Jesus- who has got that kind of time!"

    I'm not sure if I love it - but for some reason, I have been getting Parents magazine delivered to my house for like a year now.  I never ordered, and better yet, never paid for it, but it keeps coming.  It is pretty entertaining and I get at least a couple good tips out of every issue.  

    Sidenote- I also strangely get Boys Life magazine.  It is going on three years now- never ordered, never paid, and I have never read it.

    Over Christmas, my MIL asked me if I read about something in a magazine -- hell no, woman, magazines are for dinosaurs.
    Magazines are for vacations!!!  I'm picturing a trip soon laying out on a beach in the wonderful sunshine reading a nice magazine while DH watches LO :)

    I've also get parent magazines sent to my house, again didn't order, or pay for them.

    In fact, i got two yesterday and i read it while nursing Owen.

    Us weekly i love!! I only buy it if it's got a celeb on the cover who i like...(and sometimes don't like) as long as there is juicy gossip on them.

    I rad Canadian Family because I can grab it from my work. I actually really enjoy it.

    I just signed up for a free trial of Next Issue on my tablet. So far, I love it! Definitely going to keep it once I have to start paying. Every issue of tons of my favourite magazines, plus no magazine piles laying around my house. I like Today's Parent and Family Fun for parents mags, but I also read BHG, Architectural Digest, some fitness ones, and many more
