Shampoo and Conditioner recs?

DD is 3 1/2 and the kids 3in1 shampoos just aren't cutting it anymore. Her hair feels like straw if I use these. She also screams if I try to use adult conditioner because it burns her eyes. She calls it "burn soap". I try to explain that if she leans her head back it wont get in her eyes but of course she fights me on it.

What shampoo and conditioner do you use for you girls hair?

Re: Shampoo and Conditioner recs?

  • I use Fairy Tales shampoo and conditioner because I am paranoid about lice, especially since DD just started preschool.  Before preschool I used California Baby on both the kids.

  • We use Shea Moisture baby head-to-toe wash for DD's hair and body.  Actually, I'm out of soap right now, and I'm using that now too.  I don't use conditioner on her and we've never had a problem.  She has really fine hair, but lots and lots of it.

  • I use regular shampoo and conditioner on my kid's hair. It works so much better.

I only shampoo like twice a week and conditioner wash every other night. I use detangler spray on the off days (Suave Kid's is the best and cheap for us).

I also use "good" shampoo on the kid. Stuff I use. Currently Biolage. It seems to burn a lot less. It's such a small amount in kid hair that it's not like I go through it any faster.
