Leaking?

I have already called the Dr and I'm waiting for them to call back. I'm actually already at the hospital as well(I work here as a CNA)

Anyway I am sitting with a patient today and certain ways I move I can feel fluid leaking out. It doesn't feel like pee and when I go to the restroom it doesn't look like discharge it just makes my underwear really wet. It's not enough to fill a pad but feels like tiny gushes of fluid, nothing constant and has only happened about 4 or 5 times today.

I was induced with my son so I had none of this with him and I am positive I lost my mucous plug this morning which I realize means nothing. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if ended up being their water breaking. At my last appt on Monday if was a full 3cm and completely effaced. Hoping the dr calls back soon. TIA

    It can for sure be your water. Sometimes it's just as all leak and decoding on how baby is sitting he/she can plug the hole and how you sit as well. They do a simple little test to see if there is amniotic fluid in your vagina. I had the same thing only it was pee :). So it could be either

    Ok thank you so much for your response. I actually just realized I feel it more if the baby moves. I may just head down to L&D and have it checked out

    This happened to me with Dd and I was like! no way... My water didn't break.... But it totally did. Good luck!!

    This happened to me with my DD. I would leak when I would stand up or move funny. I thought maybe I was peeing a little bit but this happened to a friend of mine as well so after a little I thought maybe it could be my water. We went to hospital and they tested it and it was my water so we were admitted. My full on gush didn't happen until one of the nurses was checking me. That was embarrassing :(

    Thanks everyone. I actually ended up waiting a few hours. No contractions or anything. No came to L&D and sure enough my water broke and I was 5 cm! I an currently in L&D and since my water started breaking this morning they wanted to start pitocin to make sure I go quickly. Just got an epi placed and just waiting :)
