For those around the 5 week mark (symptoms)

I will be 5 weeks tomorrow, and still don't have many symptoms at all, and it's worrying me. No bloating, no boob pain (unless I'm wearing a bra, it sometimes feels just a little tender on the sides).  I pee frequently (and get up 1-2x a night to pee), and have had a couple days where I dry heaved in the a.m., have had my days where I'm exhausted by 8 p.m., but otherwise feel kinda normal otherwise!  My first u/s is not until Feb. 6th, which still seems like forever away.

I know one of the reasons I am nervous is because I was charting prior to my BFP, and it seems as though my LP is only 9-10 days, which I read can be indicative of low progesterone.  They have not checked my levels (I did betas last week and went from 57 to 180 in less than 48 hours which was good), but I am thinking of seeing if maybe they will check my progesterone and maybe repeat the betas when I go in for my routine blood work.

I've had sore boobs since before I got my BFP, that's the worst of what's been going on. I've had some bloating, some constipation and no morning sickness thank god. I think I am starting to slip into the fatigue stage, I almost feel asleep at dinner last night.

I hardly have any symptoms either. I did right around the time I found out but they are gone now. I believe this is what happened with DD1 too. I think it's pretty common for symptoms to come and go. Some people don't have symptoms. Around week 7-8 last pregnancy I hit the wall of fatigue and got a super nose. But from week 12-30 I hardly felt pregnant at all.

For my last pregnancy I felt that way! Just a bit tired and a bit turned off by food but very little symptoms. BUT the nausea really hit me at 10 weeks last time, not sure why!  I have the sore boobs this time around and the bloat. I think every pregnancy is different and maybe you may not get MS as bad this time, or they will come later!

Sore boobs, very dizzy, & super thirsty....that's it. Has anyone had those last two?

Low progesterone = spotting.  The corpus luteum is what's supporting your pregnancy right now and is providing the progesterone it needs until the placenta takes over.  If that were breaking down you'd be spotting as it also supports your lining - when it breaks down, so does your lining.  So unless you have a history of low progesterone and/or spotting, I think you're in the clear.  A 9-10 day LP is short, but it's not too short to get pregnant (clearly)... so since the egg did have a chance to implant your short-ish LP is no longer an issue (though I think 10 days is just fine for an LP).

Everyone's symptoms are different at 5 weeks - my symptoms with my 1st at 5 weeks were far different than what I'm experiencing this time.  So try not to compare to everyone - it'll just drive you nuts.  If you're concerned about anything just call your OB.  If this progesterone thing is bugging you, call them... but I don't see a reason for concern, you're not spotting.

I'm 7w2d.  Until yesterday,I was thinking about how few symptoms I've had.  Then we were leaving the grocery store last night, and there was a skunk outside.  I dry heaved all the way home. Yup, pregnant!

Soo tired. My boobs are killing me and I've grown two bra sizes. I can smell everything and yesterday I had my first vomit of the pregnancy. 5w3d

I have almost no symptoms compared to my first pregnancy. I can tell my boobs are larger and I am showing already. The nausea has started to kick in and I have been incredibly thirsty! I knew almost 2 weeks earlier this time which I am sure makes a difference.

5w0d here, and noticed the sides of my boobs were really sore this morning (up to this point, only the nips have been sore). Oh, and constant mild cramping. No real nausea yet, though I do feel a bit urpy when I brush my teeth. And I can smell the chlorine in our tap water like it was a public pool. Blech.

For those who have been dizzy - can you expand a little? I have meniere's disease (vertigo), and since I can't take my diuretic until at least after the 1st tri, I'm having a hard time distinguishing between if this is pregnancy-related dizziness or MD-dizziness.

I am one day behind you and have not felt a ton of symptoms, either.  I also have to wait several weeks before our ultrasound, and it still doesn't feel real.

The only two things that really stand out for me right now is having to pee constantly (up at night, as well) AND having terrible dry mouth and being incredibly thirsty all night.  I have stacked the water bottles on the night stand.  Haven't experienced any of that since my last pregnancy.  :)

Good luck, mama!  Hopefully we won't be *too* sick in the coming weeks.

I haven't had that many symptoms. I really think its because its baby #2 and Im not really paying attention 24/7 like I was with DS. My boobs are kinda tender and seem to be getting bigger because I have a red mark when I take my bra off and Im really tired. Then I have back pain near my tail bone here and there and cramps on and off. That's really it. I was dead sick the entire pregnancy with DS but Im almost positive that didn't happen until 6ish weeks.

If you are dry heaving already, that sounds like a lot of symptoms to me, actually!

I would have them check your progesterone though -- I have had low progesterone now with both pregnancies and with my first, I'm pretty sure it is what kept me pregnant.  They'll give you prometrium suppositories to take twice a day through the first tri.

@deviousmuse- Mine happens when I stand up suddenly. Usually in the bathroom at work or at home. I have to close my eyes and steady myself and then I'm usually ok.
Ok, that sounds about right from mine this morning. I think I jumped up out of bed too quickly. For a full summer, I was getting it when sitting down, which is how I was DX with Meniere's. I already have lowish bp, so they really want to watch me closely.

Thanks so much for the feedback!!  I am definitely feeling better.  I keep hoping I will just wake up one morning here, puking my guts out and feeling super bloated, LOL.

I didn't know that spotting was a symptom of low progesterone…I spotted at the beginning of last week (Monday, Tuesday and a little on Wednesday) but am pretty sure it was IB - I got my BFP last Tuesday and the spotting stopped by Wednesday evening.

I put a call into my OB today just to discuss my concerns…I asked them if they could just check my levels when I go in for my blood work, so we'll see what they say.

My previous pregnancies I never had many symptoms. This one I have felt bloated and like I could feel my uterus was pregnant since the time we had sex. But I'm sure I was just being a mental headcase. But otherwise I am bloated but nothing else. I'm 4 weeks.

In week 4 I just had major bloating. Now the bloating is gone and all I have is nausea and I'm tired all day long, so not very many symptoms for me either. I'm kinda glad as I spent most of my life puking my guts out so it's nice for a change.

I hardly had any symptoms with DS.  Boob soreness and fatigue but that was it.  No nausea at all, no weird cravings (I don't count Oreos and milk as weird) and no horrible pains.  The boobs got better around week 7-8 I'd say, and the fatigue is still going strong and he's 2.5!

I wouldn't worry too much if you're not really experiencing any symptoms, especially not at 4-5 weeks!  That's pretty early to be having much in the way of symptoms yet.  Hopefully you'll be blessed with a low-symptom pregnancy!

Not a ton of symptoms for me either, but with my last pregnancy I didn't start til after week 6 anyway.  Just super bloated and boobs are killing me.  I feel vaguely nauseous sometimes but it isn't bad, and I'm super thirsty all the time.  Now that you all mention it, I've been a little dizzy, too, but I had just attributed that to my low blood pressure.

It is common to not feel too many symptoms at this stage. Some people get symptoms right away and some dont ever get first tri symptoms. Dont worry about it, or try not to worry.

I've had some cramping, and I'm tired. I'm craving health food like crazy. It's nuts. I usually consider veggies poison. No complaints!

5w1day, I am peeing more, super thirsty, burning nipples, much more tired than usual, but they aren't constant and most of the day, I catch myself and think "wow, I'm pregnant" because I don't feel that way at all.

I hit the 5 week mark today. Yesterday I felt like the whole world smelled awful and it made me a little queasy for most of the day, and then I took a nap (which I never do). Prior to that I had only had some very slight cramping at night, and what I can only refer to as itchy nipples. Count yourself lucky you're not feeling those icky symptoms yet. I think they come on differently for everyone, and 5 weeks is still relatively early.

I'm 5w2d. I have mild cramping on and off, sore boobs (on the sides), mild fatigue, insomnia, thirsty, tiny sporadic waves of nausea (I gagged eating my granola bar this morning).
I'm just waiting for m/s to hit, though I do not want it at all! ;)

Sore boobs, very dizzy, & super thirsty....that's it. Has anyone had those last two?
@SaraGlas20 I am MEGA thirsty! I always have two(!) bottles of water with me, just in case.

That and exhaustion are my biggest symptoms. I had pretty easy 1st trimesters with both girls, other than mega exhaustion with pregnancy #2 - having an 18 month old at that time that woke up at 4:30 AM every day did not help.

5 weeks today and still no symptoms really…I POAS last night though just for reassurance, and it still came up super fast and dark, so that makes me feel a little better!  lol

My boobs did feel tender yesterday after being in a sports bra all day…but when the bra comes off, they feel pretty normal.  Still waiting and hoping for stronger symptoms to kick in!!

5w5d and my main symptom is exhaustion!!! I'm the type to say up til midnight, but recently I find myself in bed by 8 or 9 and needing a nap while I'm still at work! I'm also rather thirsty and have to make the frequent "gotta pee" trips! I've had tiny bouts of nausea but mostly I'm still hungry all day and all night!

Just nauseous. Had it at week four. Now I'm at the end of week five. It's getting a bit worse. Ugh.

My boobs have been sore, I have had mild cramping, my nose is totally runny, and I cannot quench my thirst.  I am going through water bottles like they are going out of style.  (The tap water does not taste right to me.)  And...now that you mention it, a nap sounds great!

I'm 4w4d and I don't have many symptoms. I am more tired than usual (which could be a result of less caffeine as much as pregnancy). Mildly sore boobs. With DS I started vomiting around 6/7 weeks so I'm hoping this pregnancy will be different.
