Just wanted to see how the first week of being a mommy has been. Hope all is well with you and little one!! BTW, did you labor in the tub?

    The first day home from the hospital was rough, but as to be expected. Since then, it's been wonderful. Daddy has been soaking up every moment he can with her. Basically she's in his arms unless I'm feeding. I think that's my favorite part so far-- watching him be such an awesome dad.

    As for labor, I walked around for a while, used the ball (the most relieving for me of all methods for sure) and got in the shower. The shower was towards the tail end of laboring so it wasn't as relieving as it may have been otherwise. It still felt nice to have the warm water hit me, but I should have tried the ball in the shower- the shower chair was just not ideal.
    How are you feeling? I'll be looking for your updates soon hopefully!!

    :) So glad to hear that its been such a wonderful week for you and DH!! 

    So you didnt actually use the huge labor tub that they have? Have you chosen a pediatrician yet?
    Besides throwing up still, Im doing good. Well, as good as I can be for someone who wants to give birth! Haha. I give Connie grief when I see her, since i'm still pregnant. Lol. I barely even have BH so im sure ill have to get induced..We shall see though! Thanks for the info and enjoy your day! :)

    @ashleywiz don't even ask!! Haha. At my appt on Thursday, my cervix was still FULLY closed!! I have a NST on weds and a follow up on thurs. If nothing happens, I'm getting induced on Sunday.

    Thanks! I hope so too,. I hope my cervix opens up so I can at least get a sweep and hope it will start something. I really don't want to get induced and my cervix is still closed..
