Can this week be over yet?!!

So this has been a blah kind of week. This past weekend never made it to our date night. Felt so terrible for some reason. I guess I hit the point of pregnancy I feel sick to my stomach constantly and feel like I was hit by a bus. I guess my body's way of saying slow down. So did a ton of sleeping then had to make friends with an enima..yeah shoot me! Sorry TMI

Then comes monday. Getting dressed for work and ready to head out..of course my @hole dog still will not do the stairs since we moved so usually I have to carry the dog and baby. Well this time I was carrying the dog and a cup and bit the dust from the very first step. Of course DH left and had closed the baby gate so on top of falling down 14 steps the dog and I smashed into the gate that slammed back in our face. Perfect start to the week. Doctor made me go to the ER which baby is okay so I am happy with that. Slept the whole rest of the day. I swear it's always something. Now all I can think about is how I want a carpet runner asap because I am alone half the time and I can not keep carrying the dog and my almost 2 yr old. Blah

Tomorrow DS has surgery on his wee wee. Not looking forward to it! Driving an hour half away to childrens hospital in rush hour so pray I make it on time. Should be interesting not being able to feed a toddler any food or water. Coworker brought up a good point that I need to vacuum out the car seats since we know DS stashes cereal and god knows what else in there to snack on. So need to clean that out tonight before tomorrow. Anywho..more of just a vent. I'm super nervous how DS is going to do with being put to sleep and then recovery. I know kids are like crazy little super humans they can have brain surgery and the next day be riding a push toy. Just hope he is a little happy camper since tylenol is all they can give them at that age.

My one positive for the week..finally got a hold of the manufacturing company for my sons crib. They feel so bad they have taken a month to get back to me that they are sending me a whole new frame out for free in three weeks. Thank you jesus! It was going to be an arm and a leg and I was not looking forward to buying a new crib for the next. Now only if my belly could fit over the crib to reach my son's mattress on the floor errr

I hope everyone is having a good week and enjoying this little bit of random warm weather. I know I've been enjoying that tiny bit of time outside at night when I get home from work. DS is loving it!

Oh no!!! So happy that you're ok after that fall! And hoping everything goes well with DS and that he recovers quickly! I totally get being nervous about the whole being put to sleep thing... my DS's tubes are coming up quickly, 1/27.

Oh man, what a week it's been for you!! I'm so glad you and the baby are okay. I hope the rest of the week goes smoothly and DS's surgery goes well. Big hugs, mama.

I actually want this week to be over too. DH is out of town for work all week and I'm exhausted!

Eek I hope that is a good procedure for your son! And hopefully it fixes any issues with constant ear infections

mdiblasi10 ugh I can only imagine!! I still got one more week of DH's help till hes off for the month again. The joys..while our husbands go out to eat at night, go watch football, drink etc. Hard life!

Oh my goodness, what a week! I vote week over ASAP as well. E and I are both sick and not sleeping well, so it is exhausting! Plus my cat is missing, my dog is being an @hole, and my eel I have had for 7 years is probably dying. (She hasn't adjusted to the move and has been on a hunger strike for 2 months.) I'd like to go to bed and try again next week.

Hope things get better soon. And get that runner, we can't have you falling down stairs missy!

Oh man she's still missing?!!!! Yeah nothing worse then mama and baby being sick

I hope you all get better soon. As far as the eel goes..what in the world. You would of thought you made him change homes as well..his location changed not his actual home!!! Spoiled animals!

chiwifey Right isn't it annoying!? I chewed my husband a new one last monday when he in Charlotte watching football, drinking beers and he forgot to have our security system installed so I didn't sleep a wink that night. I was a royal B. And they always seem to come home feeling ever so exhausted!!! Pobre citos...not really! Hopefully your week will go fast as well! So draining being mr and mrs. mom. I swear I complain but really I got it good. I can't imagine for a second being a single partent you know?

Wow lots of stressful things this week. What a scary fall. Get that damn runner now!

My DS had surgery on his pee pee too at 20 months. I was a nervous wreck. He ended up not needing to be under as long as we thought thank goodness. Everything went really well. Recovery was harder than the surgery. He did well but it broke my heart when he would say his pee pee hurt. Hugs your LO will do great.

Yay for the free crib replacement. Make your neighbor come pick up the mattress for you.

Eek! I'll def let ya know how it goes since you will be doing the same thing. Not looking forward to having him put under. My OB just botched it. Too much skin left looks like wings

Oh man my son can't verbalized that much yet so no clue what he will do tomorrow! But you def did it at the same time as me so hoping for the same experience. I'm also worried how thirsty and hungry he will be in the am.

Wow! What a crazy week! I am so glad that everyone is safe after that fall! DS had surgery for a hypospadia when he was six months. It was way harder on me and dh than it was on DS. Hope your LO bounces back!

So the week gets better.. Get home to my dog acting crazy backing into walls etc. Ran him o the vet got X-rays and that whole deal. Get Urine results tomorrow but bad news he has stones again ergggg so I will know tomorrow If surgery is needed. When it rains it pours

Dragonfly1226 just looked up what you said. Not that's a much more invasive surgery that would of freaked me out big time. I'm starting to think no matter how little things are for our kids it kills us no matter what at the thought of the pain they could feel. I'm glad he did well!

I was so worried about the drinking eating thing too. He was so distracted by all the hosp stuff that it didnt seem to bother him so much. Hoping the same for your little guy.

Yikes, what a week! I'm glad you & baby didn't get seriously injured in that fall.

Also good luck with the surgery tomorrow. DS1 had to have a surgery for a testicular hernia when he was almost 3. It was rough on me. He got a popsicle and a beeny baby from the nurses afterward so that helped.

Dragonfly1226 I just wanted to let you know they just found when doing surgery ds has hyperspadia too so they just brought in another surgeon to correct it. Never even heard of this before. I take it you didn't know there was anything wrong with it either?
