Hi ladies!
I plan to breast feed but I'm not really sure how this will workout for me at work! I I'm an E.M.T and work on an ambulance all day. I also plan to pump but there isn't much privacy and sometime we barley eat during shifts because of a high volume of calls. I really don't know what to do. I'm hoping that I don't have to end up switching to formula. I'm also thinking about just finding another job. Do you ladies have any advice for me? I'm so lost!
Re: Breast feeding and going back to work!
Also, maybe you could get an adaptor so you can pump in the ambulance. I'm not sure if that is feasible or not, but I had one and it just hooks into your car lighter. I know it's not ideal but sometimes you have no choice!

Also look up your state's breastfeeding coalition. The one for my state had good information about the state laws related to breastfeeding, which go beyond the federal law, and I shared it with my HR manager in a friendly way.
Do you have an HR person you can talk to?
