Insomniacs.... anyone up?

We had our prepare visit tonight at the hospital... its getting more real and I can't turn my mind off. :P I'm currently sorting through items to take to goodwill later today. I don't want ANY clutter right now, it drives me crazy!!! I'm looking forward to meeting a friend for coffee at Panera this morning. We're both dropping our kids off at daycare and having a little mom outing.

What are your plans for the day?

I work 2-10:30 so my Wed is not very fun. I am more looking forward to my day off thursday and even more to Sat because my coworkers are throwing me a shower

Right now I am up watching modern family, its 10pm here.

I'm using most of the afternoon tomorrow to prepare for DS's 4th birthday party on Friday. This has been a crazy/hectic week at our house!

3am and still wide awake! Reading another kindle book and listening to DH sleep soundly.

No plans for the day. Panera sounds wonderful. I could eat a dozen pumpkin muffies right now!

I might go get a pedicure... Hmmm.

@PeachLove25 I had a pedicure today. It was HEAVEN! Hadn't had one since June... lol My feet are thanking me!

Have you read any great books on your Kindle lately? Any recommendations? I've found myself reading short (hot and steamy) love stories lately.

Ok, going to clean our shower, drink a glass of water, and then hopefully get some more sleep!!!

I found this mixture on Pinterest for cleaning showers and it looked like it was working!!!

1/2 C. vinegar
1/2 C. BLUE dawn dish soap
4 T. baking soda

Heat the vinegar for 30 seconds in the microwave, add Dawn, but wait to add baking soda until you have the cup over your shower/bathtub (volcano will ensue). Leave on up to 2 hours. Wipe/scrub off.

(I think I might be nesting a bit...) haha almost 4am and I am now cleaning the shower.... going to be a LONG day!

I'm awake - the itchiness is driving me crazy.

My mind is also racing. I had real contractions all day yesterday that even hit the 5-1-1. Went in to be checked, but I was only 2cm and 50% so sent home. They slowed and then stopped. Boo. DH keeps saying, "he'll come when he's ready." Blah blah blah. I'm ready.

Ya, and I'm itchy.

Peach, that looks amazing.

Ziggy, I could so go for a pop tart, too.

I'm up! DS changing and feeding time. He puked in his bassinet and didn't cry so I didn't see it till he woke up to eat! So sad, broke my heart

DH just fed him too much

He sucked down 90cc (a big feeding is usually 70) and an hour later he was fussy so he offered him the bottle and he took 40 more. DH just didn't know to stop him. I'm surprised he took it, he will usually refuse it when he's full.

Woke up to pee, made the mistake of checking the time. 3 more hours until my alarm will go off for work. Started bumping and now had to heat up a pop tart!

Okay, can't sleep. The contractions appear to have slowed down thanks to fluids so they did not do any further cervical checks. Thank goodness because I was not prepared! Not sure when I'll get to home yet. Still being monitored. Hoping to try to eat something in a few hours if the doctor will allow it. Fx contractions stay under control! Thanks to everyone for the T&Ps.

ETA: is there anyone willing to copy and paste this little update on the other post for me (in L/D...) ?? I'm on mobile and thusly impaired.

I'm awake. It's 6am here but it feels much earlier since I was awake most of the night. Didn't get online, though, since I was already keeping DH awake with my coughing.
