Day care day 2...

Not as smooth as day 1. Tears, clinging, asking me not to go :(

He's only going on Mon and Tues, so he'll get a break before heading back, but I hope it gets easier.

    It does. It's harder as they get older, too. My son has gone since he was 10 weeks old so it's always just been his way of life but I've watched kids come in now at even 1 or 2 years old that are so used to the home routine that it can be a long adjustment period until daycare becomes just as familiar to them. It's rough but they get over it.

    If it makes you feel better, ask the teacher how long he was upset for.  I bet you that it was about 60 seconds after you walked out the door, and then he got too wrapped up in all the fun!
