Okay, so again, sorry in advance, I'll try not to be gross about it, but basically I just got into my 2nd trimester -- and everything I am eating, it seems, goes right through me. I have never had any MS, but am having recurring issues of loose bowels/diarrhea after most meals.
Anyone know of any safe remedies? Or foods that combat it?
I think it's just a stage. Maybe eat some bananas!

I think it's a stage too. I had it the worst early in 2nd tri. For me, it was random days, usually after dinner. I still get it occasionally but it has gotten better.
I get it off and on. I'll be backed up for a day or two -- and then VERY MUCH NOT BACKED UP -- and then back to mild constipation.
My doc said it's hormone-related and there's not much that will effectively treat it. But if it happens a lot, let your doc know. It shouldn't be happening every day for a week or anything like that.
How are you with soda and/or lactose? I have Crohn's disease and those things always give mud butt (sorry if that's too far!) so I automatically go there when I hear someone has bathroom issues. Upping my protein helps me as well!
I agree that it's probably hormone related. You could try the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast), which, according to my RD friends, should help settle your gut without making you constipated.
Re: Possibly TMI, my apologies.
