  For both my children I tried to use the drop ins to start with, just because I wanted the ease of using the disposable bags, but I found both of them took way better to the Vent aire narrow bottles. I think the drop in nipple would be great for going between breast and bottle, but we EFF and they def. seemed to latch better to the narrow style of the Vent Aire.

  
  

  I also did not like how I had to unscrew the dropins to see how much the baby is taking during a feeding and then having to squeeze out the air again to continue.  Once the bag is collapsed, I found it impossible to gauge.

  We used drop ins and EFF all 3 kids...DD2 is 2 weeks old, and was a small preemie.  She has no problem with the nipple at all.  I really like the drop-ins.

  My 2wk old is EFF and we use the drop-ins with no problems. Of course, she hasn't met a bottle she didn't love so it could just be her.
