The meaning of dh dd ect...

I see all these abbreviations can anyone fill me in on what they mean?? DS DH DO DD???

    Thank goodness you've asked this question! I've been here for almost my entire pregnancy and I still have idea!!! I picked up that DH is husband but sometimes people use MH so I don't know what the difference is between DH and MH. Also, I think DS and DD is children but again, not sure what it stands for. 

    Someone please clarify!

    Dear Son, Dear Husband, Dear Daughter, etc  The numbers indicate the birth order.

    I don't know DO, do you mean SO?  That's significant other or s/o which means subject of.
