Well, BFP for me...  So, although this shouldn't be the first thing I think about, I was just about to pull the trigger on a well-researched hiking stroller.  Should I still get it, or would it be better to get something that converts from a 1 to a 2 baby stroller?  Any advice?

    Congrats! How much distance walking/hiking will you be doing? I fully believe that a quality stroller is a necessity because kids potentially use them for so long! That said, I don't jog and I don't the joggers cumbersome, but that's just my opinion.

    We are doing the City Select and double kit. That was if Ev doesn't want to ride I can still use as a single. But that's a chunk of change, too... Look at your travel space too. With two car seats, will a double jogger fit in your trunk?

    Man, so much new to think about.  I have a Prius, so I think something like a Phil and Teds Navigator would probably fit, but maybe not a tandem.  I walk nearly every day and hike away from home about once/week.  The streets in our neighborhood are terrible and even on the 2 block walk to the library today we had to navigate a lot of old ice hanging around, so I want something decent for this terrain.

    Thanks guys...the high risk doctor told us that we had to wait a year, but it would be better to wait 18 months.  Since we had a preemie, after her first birthday we said, let's not try but not prevent.  That will probably get us a BFP around 18 months.  One cycle later...

    Congratulations! I know nothing about jogging strollers, I do wish I had one even though I do not run! I just wanted to say congrats!

    We are TTC#2 so I have been thinking about this too. We have a travel system (which we barely use) a light weight umbrella stroller which is great for quick trips or the airport, and then we have a BOB. We use the Bob the most but I am affraid a double would be too much!
