Pregnancy is Taking its toll...

With all the Target shinnanigans, the bank send me and DH new credit cards (no charge - cool, right?). So, I called the 800# to activate them like any normal person would do. Feeling so proud of myself for having accomplished this simple task I then proceed to cut up the old card only to realize 20 seconds later that I actually had cut up the brand new card. Now, I have to ask for another new card. 
Do you think they'll have pity on my if I stick my belly out far enough?

    Oh no lol i feel like that's something I would have done too! I hope they can take pity and just replace it for you.

    They will fix it for you no problem. I've been a mess lately. I lost car keys to a car that isn't mine (I stored them with our dog leashes) and yesterday I tapped the car in front of me at a stop sign. I'm just a disaster. Replacing cards will be easy. Good luck :)

    Haha, thank you for sharing.  I have some sort of irrational fear that I'm going to walk out of work and simply climb over the balcony to my death (or at least severe injuries).  I have no suicidal intentions or anything like that.  I am simply afraid I'll be so out of it that it might happen because I'll have no idea what I'm doing.

    At the end of October, which was right around the time I would have started on the morning sickness meds and was still feeling miserable, I actually forgot to pay my credit card bill. I set up the payment online and viewed the info summary but apparently forgot to hit "submit transaction." DH was not impressed to see the interest on the next statement. Now I make him watch when I go through it, to verify that I am actually submitting the payments.

    The brain fog seems to have let up for the time being (though not completely)...we'll see how long that lasts!

    I'm pretty sure they will give you a new card without any side eye or pity.  Also I truly think when there is a pregnant belly they give much more room for mistakes and lead way.  Just walk into the bank and up to the service manager rub that belly and ask for a new card!

    I have done that at work! I ended up shredding a customers new card instead of his old card! (I work @ a bank)

    I feel ya.  I've done all sorts of crazy stuff like accidentally stealing someone's grocery cart and not realizing it for a solid 20 minutes later.  I was also slicing a loaf of french bread and my husband freaked out because my hand was in the way and I was literally sawing through the top of my own fingernail.  Good thing he stopped me before I made it through my nail! Sheesh!! OBLIVIOUS.

    Lol, this weekend at Kroger, I walked off with a cart completely filled with broken down cardboard boxes (obviously being used by an employee stocking or something).  It didn't even have food in it.  I walked well into another section and started putting vegetables in it before I realized it wasn't mine.  I felt like such an idiot taking it back and getting my cart, which wasn't even on the same aisle as I got the 'stolen' cart from.  Wtf.

    Did this with my SS card once, right after I got married. Wasn't even pregs. At least you did this while growing a human inside of you!

    LOL. Nice. I had a dunce moment with my new debit card today too. It got declined 3 times at Walmart before I realized I was putting in the PIN for my old card, and I hadn't even bothered to look at the PIN for the new card.
