I think the stress is getting to me...

either that or I'm going crazy.
I'm usually a night owl, 11 pm or later bedtime. I've always been this way. Since being on bed rest I've been exhausted all the time, which makes no sense at all. Last night it was 10pm and I couldn't stop crying over the dumbest things and my husband was looking at me like I'd lost my mind. He tucked me in bed and I don't remember anything after that. I feel bad for my husband having to deal with my craziness, hopefully it was a one time thing! I may have to alter my bed time.

  • That's what husbands are for! To deal with our craziness ;) I'm sure he understands crying and mood swings are all part of pregnancy. It happens to all of us! Also, I'm sleeping more since I've been on bed rest too. Might as well catch those z's while we can! I'm sure it's good for the babies too. Hope you feel happier today!
  • It is so mentally exhausting and everyone who has been there knows it.  Take it one day at a time and keep that countdown going.  Good luck mama!
  • Don't feel bad, singleton pregnant moms go through the same thing...so we are extra super moms for carrying 2 babies at once! ;) Its so different than carrying one baby!! The bigger I get the more tired I get. I'm not on bed rest but feel like I am practically since I'm huge and can't do much anyways. Let your husband deal with it...it's the least he could do right? Our bodies are working overtime! Can't see how far along you are (on mobile) but hope the end is near for you!!

  • Thanks for the pep talk. I am feeling less emotional today,  but boy do the moods swing fast! I was totally unprepared on how the bed rest was going to effect me. Going from doing positively everything, my husband works two full time jobs, to absolutely nothing, has been really stressful on both of us.
We've also had to hire help because magically none of the family that said they would help if needed are available. So having a stranger in the house with my other kids adds to my stress.

I'm almost 32 weeks and I have 3 singletons. You are so right when you say it is different than just carrying one baby! I never had these mood swings carrying any of them and the physical limitations!! When I was PG with DS I wouldn't have thought twice about crawling out the window and shoveling snow off our roof. Now DH wont let me step foot out the door without him.  *Sigh*
  • I could have written the same thing a week ago! Granted, I don't have LOs, but at least you're not alone in how you feel!
  • @Paradisemoon I have my moments, but don't we all? Today is a good day, and I'm actually in good spirits this week.
