swim lessons with LO

I'm looking into swim lessons with Owen. It's for ages 6 months to 3 years down at our local community center.
I'm just curious if anyone here is doing a swim class with their lo, and how you both like it?

Any one here CD and use a swim diaper? If so...what swim diaper do you recommend?

Love it and cloth diapered with G's swim lessons for 2 years. It wasn't a problem but I also never asked I just did it. My Bummis never had a poop escape and they were definitely tested! I really loved getting a chance to be in the water during the winter especially when I was pregnant. DH and I both participated because we would fight about who got to do it! Just make sure it's a warm pool, we once tried lessons at the colder pool in a different Y and G was miserable as were we.

We did it from 3-5 months and we loved it! Can't wait to start again in the spring. My DD loves splashing and kicking.

We don't cloth diaper but we did for swimming. We used applecheeks swimming cloth diapers and they worked well.

We are doing swim classes now with CD and love it. LO loves being in the water, he kicks, and giggles and splashes and hates getting out of the pool. It has made bath time a little more challenging because all he wants to do now is float and he keeps trying to get on his tummy in the tub.

We use CDs as well and I also have a Blueberry Freestyle swim diaper that has been great.

We are doing a mommy/baby water aerobics class on saturdays. They do some baby swim basics like dipping them under but mostly they stay in the float. I like it a lot and so does DD. We just did 2 saturdays and I plan to continue for the next month or so. I think we'll try music class next then do a swimming class.

she seems to really like it, our class is 4 months to 3 years. It's nice to make some new mommy friends.

We just had our second swim class today and we both love it! Ours is 6 months to 3 years as well. It's all about having fun in the pool

We had our first class tonight! LO loved it

we used the pampers swimmers diaper and it worked just fine.

We just started last Friday and it was so much fun! Wyatt loved the water (didn't really surprise me) and had a blast splashing around. He even had his head dunked under and didn't even cry. He had a really good nap right before we left (I think this was hugely important!), our schedule will be a little messed up this Friday so I'm worried he'll be ready for a nap right at class time.

I'm so glad everyone is loving swimming with their babies!! I think I'm gonna go ahead and try it out.
I'm really needing mommy friends and want to get out of the house, have something to look forward you on a weekly basis.

I'm so excited, plus...another excuse to go to the CD store, gotta buy a swim dipe now! :-)
