You're not planning to do this yet, are you? Everything I have ever heard or read says that you should wait until 1 year to transition to WCM. I am no help because I haven't done it, but I personally will not start the transition until after 1 year and will probably still nurse morning and/or night until my baby is no longer interested.

No, just curious for future reference.
We will be starting a slow transition at 11 months, pedi approved.

I weaned DD#1 from BF to just BM every 4 days. She had about 6 feedings. No experience with a good wean to cows milk because I had over 3 months of BM frozen and only gave her cows milk with meals for the longest time. Right as I was starting to run out of BM I gave her more cows milk.
I haven't done this yet, but am planning to start 2 weeks before 1 year. DS currently only nurses 4-5 times a day. I can continue with at least 2 of those even when he does start daycare and I go back to work, so I'll try to start giving him wcm during the day.
