Coffee creamer is gross, anyway Black for the win!
My Monday is great. Kid woke up at 5:25 for some reason, 30 minutes before her alarm goes off for school. But she wasn't cranky, so it's all good. She's in school now, I caught up with chores. Now relaxing.

I only want black coffee if i have something super sweet to eat with it, or I am drunk/hungover LOL.
Started out rough! DS (who is normally a good sleeper) woke up screaming around midnight. I brought him into our bed because I was too darn tired for any alternative solution. He tossed and turned, so finally around 3am I asked him if he wanted to go back in his crib and he said yes.
When he woke up, he told me "I have owwie". I asked him, where is your owwie? He tells me "In my mouf (mouth)". Dang you 2 year molars!!
The boss is out of the office all week though, so that's a positive! It will be a nice laid back week, and I'll get more done even with my extra bumping time.

haha no I think nottttt.
I actually just started drinking black coffee this past year. It used to make me gag. Then I decided I wanted to lose 50 pounds, so I dropped creamer so I could eat those calories instead. Took me a week to get used to the flavor, now it's all I can have. It makes my flavored coffees taste pure! And I can have 3 cups for zero calories!
Cooper had a pretty major injury last week (permanently lost part of a finger) and surgery from said injury, so this week is going to be rough. I'm still shaken from it.
I had to go back to work today and it's killing me that I'm away from him when he's hurt. We're supposed to leave for vacation this Thur night (that we booked nearly 2 years ago) and won't know if it's safe to go until his follow up with the surgeon Wednesday.

Coffee is the only vice I have. I would rather drink those calories any day of the week!! I am in LOVE with hazelnut coffee mate.

OMG what happened??
Severe Gore/TMI alert: my husband accidentally shut part of Cooper's hand in the door. His finger was in the hinge of the door and the door just cut off the tip of his finger. The surgery was to file the bone down so they could stitch the skin over it. I didn't know such a thing was even physically possible. :-/

I switched to black coffee here at work about six years ago, because there wasn't easy access to milk and I won't use powder. It was a pretty easy transition, really, but I still add milk at home on the weekends.
My day started with a one-on-one get-to-know-you meeting with our new director, who I'll report to directly. Routine from here on out.

Oh gawdddd!!!!!!!! This is seriously one of my biggest fears, I'm so anal I check to see if her heads are away from the door like 10 times before I close it. UGH, I am so sorry! Poor guy

OMG how many heads does she have??!!! This is far more interesting. HAHAHA j/k.
Thanks everyone, he is doing really well now. He is back to his crazy toddler ways and the appointment with the surgeon went great! He has healed enough to just be down to a bit of gauze and a band-aid.
It amazes me how resilient kids are. I would probably still be weeping on the couch if it happened to me.
