    And then you say the alphabet and which ever letter you mess up jump roping on is the first letter of your crushes name.

    All I remember is one that went, "rich man, poor man, beggar man, thief...doctor, lawyer, indian chief!" The one you messed up on was the one you would marry. Not exactly pc...but it was the 80s and all.

    It's funny to hear others playground chants that I've never heard of.

    We used to do this one when you put your feet in to determine who would be "it".

    My momma and yo momma were hanging out clothes
    my momma socked yo right in tha nose!
    What color was her blood?

    And you'd pick a color and then you'd go,

    P U R P L E spells purple!
    And out you go with a dirty dirty dishrag
    On yo mommas big fat toe!

    That was my favorite.
