First Time Mommy - UTI

Hubby and I married on 10/19/2013, positive pregnancy test on 11/28/13, due date 08/09/2014!
We are excited for our little one and almost done with my first trimester.
We had our first prenatal and had an ultrasound and saw movement and heartbeat, so cool and overwhelming!
Excited, nervous, anxious to be first time parents!
Finally revealing the news to our friends and will have an official facebook announcement at the end of the month!
My first pre-natal revealed that I have UTI, but I had no idea symptom-wise.
Taking my antibiotics now to get rid of it. Any others with the same issue?

    I don't have experience with UTI's yet during this pregnancy, but I was told that they are common in pregnant women and they may very well have no obvious symptoms.  Your immune system is suppressed a bit during pregnancy so it can happen.

    Congrats we also got our BFP right after getting married!! It's exciting!! Sorry dont have much info for the uti but im glad ur getting it taken care of :)

    Yep. Just had my 8wk appt last week and they told me I had a UTI. Never had one in my life and had no symptoms. Taking antibiotics now:(

    Never had it with my first pregnancy.

    I had a recurring UTI (with absolutely no noticeable symptoms) my first pregnancy. By the third tri they just put me on an antibiotic for the remainder of my pregnancy :/

    I had a UTI at the very beginning. The only symptoms I had was lower back pain. The nurse said a lot of times with pregnant women you don't feel all the normal signs. I took the antibiotic and it cleared up.

    Now I am so careful when I whipe (tmi I know). And I'm drinking a small glass in the mornings of no sugar added cranberry juice.

    Congrats on hearing the heartbeat!!!

    Thanks for the advice!
    Almost done with the antibiotic, so hopefully it will be gone.
    Prenatal Vitamin is making we want to hurl every time I take it now. It was fine a few weeks ago, but now its become worst.
    Currently at 10 weeks and 3 days and I think I am showing.
    Need daily afternoon naps and am going to bed by 9:00 pm lol.
    Never thought I slept so much :)
