Success after IF

Here I Am...

Thanks for the shoutout Bella! Sorry it took me so long to get on here but I can't seem to find the "new discussion" post via mobile.

Anyway, doing much better thank you ladies for the support. DH has actually been going to see a doctor and it's made a huge difference. To be honest, he started a super low dosage of anti-axiety medication (which we thought he should have been on even before this news) and it's already worked wonders in the past few weeks. We still are both a little scared about what the future brings with three under 2, but hey - it'll all work out right? The thing that has me the most nervous right now is telling work. I talked to the woman in HR at my company who said that things will work out, etc etc. But my numbers haven't been great this past year and although things are going great right now, I'm scared my boss is going to be really upset at the thought of me taking two maternity leaves in less than two years. I know technically they can't fire me for being pregnant, but I'm afraid they are going to use the fact that my numbers are down to let me go. I'm just hoping that doesn't happen, because we really need my income and insurance.

I'm thinking of posting on the Working Moms board as well for any advice. Thanks again for the support and thinking of me.

  • Also, if your performance has been up at work recently, I'd probably try to keep at it and hold off telling for a while.

  • Good for YH. As far as work goes, if they try to use that against you after you told them you were preggo they could have a lawsuit coming their way. ;)

  • I'm glad things are better for y'all! Hopefully work will be fine and you can say you worried for nothing! (Although I'm a total worrier so I get that!)
