S/O breastfeeding classes, I had been meaning to recommend BFing support groups, if your hospital (and/or a local baby store) offers one. We didn't have any specific BFing issues with my DD, but I met most of my local mom friends through my hospital's BFing support group. It met once a week at a local church, and was just a great excuse to get out of the house at the start. It was a place where your baby could scream and you could NIP without being at all self-conscious. It was led by a lactation consultant and the women set up a playgroup that DD and I still participate in, 16 months later.
I just wanted to recommend them if they are offered in your area!
Re: BFing Support Groups
Yeah I didn't take the BF class, either. I didn't realize there's a LC at the support group. Aren't they free to attend?
Ah right, pretty far from Vista
Mom to Lily and Colin!
