Yep,I'm taking it and it's wonderful. I've taken it quite a bit pre-preg and have always responded well to it.
I try to only take it about once a week if I really need to....like if it's been several days of poor sleep or insomnia. But yeah, it's wonderful.
I have had pregnancy insomnia since day one, think roughly 2-3 hours of fitful, interrupted sleep a night, total, for 9 months. I have begged my doctor for Ambien/scripts but she insists these are not safe as they are all class C (I think?). It effects every aspect of my daily life, being so tired, but doc says only unisom and tylenol PM, which both stopped working after first trimester. I am very jealous that your doctor gave you Ambien.
Nope, just Unisom. But I have to take it every night otherwise NO SLEEP for me. My insomnia wasn't nearly this bad with my daughter... but man.. this little boy does not want me to sleep. Ugh. I woke up last night at 3:00am panicked because I haven't packed hospital bags yet. And I am only 30 weeks still. Pretty sure I have time left to panic about that later. But my brain didn't see it that way last night. Anyway... sorry to vent.
