Sorry if this was already discussed.. but what is a good resource for finding product reviews for cribs, strollers, etc. I was thinking of signing up for Consumer Reports but wasn't sure if there were other places I could look at first.

    Even if I don't plan to purchase from Amazon, I still research there. I look more often at the bad reviews to weed out the crap ones such as not what I wanted and gave 2 stars. Just because you didn't know what you were ordering doesn't mean you should give a negative review. Or it showed up late so one star. None of that has anything to do with a product. Once I weed those out I can see the real pros and cons.

    I liked baby bargains because it gave you a rec for a low, mid, and high priced option on the items.

    Lucie's List is a great registry and review list as well!

    I always read reviews on Amazon.  We ended up getting a subscription to Consumer Reports as well (DH found a Groupon), but it didn't give a ton of information on baby gear.  Sometimes it would just have a list of recommendations.  (By recommendations I don't necessarily mean products, but a list of things to look for.)

    I always check Amazon.  If they don't have reviews than I just Google the product name and "review".

    I know Amazon is a good place for customer reviews but I was wondering more about safety and such. I'll look into that baby bargains book!

    Like PP I always look at the reviews on BRUCE & Amazon. I also go to consumer reports to read safety info & reviews.

    I like to read the reviews on the sites that sell the products. Amazon doesn't censor as much as BrU does.
