Google, pregnancy websites... this is my first pregnancy I don't have anyone to call and ask for advice my first doctor appointment is the 21, I'm sorry if I sound annoying.
I completely understand the feeling of "unknowns". :-) This is my 1st pregnancy, too. I'm about 7 weeks and THANKFULLY my first appointment is tomorrow. I started taking prenatal vitamins right when I found out I was pregnant. When I called to schedule my first appointment, the nurse told me to start taking them. I've also known people who are TTC who have taken them. I'm getting the hint that prenatal vitamins are nothing but good when TTC/pregnant. :-)
Preferably, you should have been taking them before you got pregnant. If you weren't taken them before you needed to start immediately after finding out you were pregnant. Start taking them now!

I would suggest using the search function on these forums! There is a ton of great information here.
I started taking prenatal vitamins 3 months before I became pregnant. Its never too soon. I also plan on taking them long after I give birth, who doesnt need vitimins.
I started taking prenatals the day it was medically confirmed. The earlier you take them the lower the chance of birth defects. Please take your vitamins!

I also suggest buy a pregnancy book or two. The Bump has some good advice articles, broken down into trimesters.
Ha! Most of the bump articles are crap.
OP, start taking a PNV.
Yeah, I'm kind of curious what articles you're talking about. All the ones I've seen are pretty terrible.
