Just curious when folks started cutting their little girl's hair.
DD turned 2 in September, and has always had a lot of hair. It's past her shoulders now, and I love it, even as sloppy as it often looks pulled into a messy pony. I have no intention of cutting it anytime soon, but sometimes . . . I don't know, she still has that baby-uneven mess going on and sometimes I see little girls her age with cute bangs and everything, and I'm not as sure. So I'm curious about when you decided to start cutting their hair and why you finally made the decision.
Re: Little girl haircuts - when?
The first time her hair was growing very uneven; the second it was long and had split ends.
I think I cut her hair at about a year and then every five ish months or so after that?
I have a kid that just looks better with trimmed hair. She hates hair accessories and I can't stand hair in her face. It also gets really stringy, tangle-y and straggle-y in the back fast.
I'm also a slacker and like low maintenance.
She has fine hair but a lot of it just like I do. My hair needs to be trimmed often or it does the same thing fast.
