The 5 second cry

My LO will randomly cry out for no reason just for a moment. He can be right in front of me sitting in his vibrating chair & out of no where he'll cry and he'll just stop before I even get a chance to pick him up. Or other times he's asleep and he'll cry & stop without even opening his eyes just for seconds. Anyone else's LO do this? It's different then when he gets startled or fussy or has gas.

Yeah, they look like little baby nightmares.
I think it's normal and/or I'm not too worried about it.

Mine does this all the time it's so random sometimes I think she has a little gas pain and will let out a little WAH sound

Totally normal for most/all babies. My nearly 2-month old daughter does it, especially when asleep. I usually just talk quietly to her, or stroke her nose, and she never wakes up from it.
