  I think as long as your monitoring them, and in eyes view, it should be fine. We live in a 1 floor apartment, and she only uses it in our small living room, while I'm watching. It's your child and your decision to keep it or return it.

  People get seriously wiggy over walkers and I don't get it.  Pretty soon they will BE walking so the dangers are the same.  You don't let them near stairs, duh lol  OP, can she propel it forward?  If she can, I think she's fine.  If not, I'd hold off for a little bit because you want her to be able to put enough of her foot down to support some of her weight so it's not all in her hips, kwim?

  I swear to God that I think some PARENTS should be banned lol  Gee, I shouldn't put my unrestrained child in a seat on the counter?  Who knew?  Oh, letting mobile children near ungated stairs is dangerous?  Someone needs to tell me these things!!eleventy!!  FTR: Ice is cold and coffee is hot.  You're all welcome.

  The walker that I have came witha  brochure that said when the balls of their feet touch is  the correct height and that you do not want them to be flat footed.  It sounds like you are fine.
