For those that have started Potty Training

Our daughter has been pretty good about letting us know when she needs to go potty at home and at daycare to her teachers. However, we have been lazy about re-enforcing the training when we are out and about.  We are trying to really push to do that in the next few weeks and needs to be able to bring a potty chair with us.  I no longer carry a diaper bag with me as she does not require as many things and the bag I do carry will not fit a potty chair.  Any suggestions on what type of carrier I can use that won't be bulky and heavy?

    We never brought I potty chair with us (unless I took my kids to the park).  I just bought one of those fold up potty rings that I put in a gallon bag and stuffed in my purse.  I found ours at Walmart.  Also, I packed sticky notes to put on the cover of those automatic flushers so it wouldn't go off.  This may not be a problem for you but my kids were 15 & 17 months old when they PT so they got scared by the loud flushes!

    I just put my LO on a regular potty if we are at a store or whatnot.  I usually hold her up there (more hand holding now) but it's easier than lugging around a potty.

    Thanks for all the responses!  I really appreciate the suggestion about the sticky notes.  My daughter also freaks out when that happens. =)

    I don't think I would have ever thought of that, great tip! I'll keep that in mind for future use
