Success after IF

I actually O'ed on my own (PCOS)!

After not being able ovulate without meds before conceiving DS, and a canceled IUI cycle last month (first month TFAS after weaning), I O'ed on my own this Saturday!

I've confirmed it with OPKs, CP, and CM. And I have a two-day temp spike, just waiting for another high temp tomorrow to truly confirm.

And we had great timing. But regardless if this ends in a BFP this month or not, I'm just so glad that my body did it on its own!

The IUI cycle last month was rough- I was a nightmare on the stims, DH and I fought a lot, and everything just felt off for some reason. We decided to wait a few more months before cycling again because we want #2, but just not feeling up to the treatments at the moment. This O comes as a big surprise and I'm hoping it's a new trend.

  • @mnerani I don't mind sharing. :) I didn't get my cycle back pp until E was 10 months. I had a wonky 6 week cycle, and thought for sure I was anovulatory and started making plans to head back to the RE. 6 weeks later, I started bleeding again, thought it was AF, and cried and cried and decided it was definitely time to call the RE. The next day, no more bleeding. What?? Turns out it was implantation bleeding and I was pg. it was a huge shock, but a wonderful and amazing one.
I never did make it back to the RE before my surprise so I don't know if my ovaries were still poly cystic. But I definitely wasn't having "normal" cycles.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
