I have a canon elph that I love. Great point & shoot, tiny enough to fit in my pocket or purse....
and I just got a Canon Rebel Xsi. I've only had it a couple of days, so I'm still learning how to use it. But, so far, I love it! Very easy to use and takes wonderful photos.
We have a D80 with a couple super nice lenses (says MH) and a cool external flash and I tell ya.....I would rather lug all of that around any day of the week and twice on Sunday over a teeny little point and shoot now!!! The pics it takes is fantastic!! Sure, I have to work at it and read up on things sometimes but I LOVE that.....it's a challenge. And for the most part, I can also just keep it in Auto and get the shot I want w/o all the fuss.
Re: Anyone have Nikon's D40?
The Nikon D40 is a digital SLR camera and the powershot is not. I have a Canon rebel XT that I love.
You can just shoot in auto with the D40 or in the future learn more and do more with it.
