SO its about time that my little bun in the oven is going to be able to hear. What are everyones plans as far as special things that you plan to do? Read books to the baby? Play classical music? Have you heard any tips about good things to do to help the baby be more intelligent, calm, etc?
Re: When your baby can hear
IF, 5 losses, 1 son, 1 on the way.
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
Baby #1: expected June 2014
According to TB app, my baby can hear as of this week. Thank god the Eagles are out of the playoffs or baby would be getting a lot of DH yelling as well, @kbellizio3
So far he/she has only heard my off-key singing in the car. Lucky kid.

Wait until you have #3....wait we are having a baby when??!?? In my defense DD#1 is a genius!!!!!!
MississippiCatfish said I'm super busy. We will catch up on story time plenty in the future.
OMG...I need to work on my sailor like language.
Well, I read a lot to my toddler so I suppose baby will hear a lot of books that way. And like @Swilkins1122 I do plenty of off-key singing so there's that. I'm not planning to do anything special I guess.

OMG I agree wholeheartedly. Child abuse indeed.

This reminds me of an epic parenting fail last week. We were in the store buying dark chocolate for my grandma. My DH and son love gummies. He buys them "for our son" and then eats at least half of them lol. Anyways, he was looking at the candy and says "Holy shitballs, they have organic gummies" (we like organic foods). I roll me eyes and keep walking but hear our son says "shitballs!" And points to the gummies! I was so embarrassed. Luckily no one was around and he hasn't said it since.
