Right now I say at least three full years (maybe 3.5) before we would begin to try again. ie go back to fertility treatments. Before experiencing this INSANE pregnancy I would have told you I'd be ready to try again in about a year. ha!

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO? I cannot wait to introduce her to her cousin! (my sister's little boy)

6. Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy? Certainly didn't expect to break my tailbone at 32 weeks.

7. If you could have any drink right now what would it be? A big top shelf Perfect Margarita (splash of OJ) on the rocks with lots of salt.

Fruit! I've cycled from mangos to watermelon to apples to pears to mandarin oranges

Probably between a year or two, we shall see how infancy goes :P. This pregnancy has been pretty good overall so that wouldn't stop me from trying again quickly.

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO?

Well the right away answer is snuggling him and getting to see what he looks like but the long term answer is getting know a whole new person and see life in the exciting way only cute little kiddos can.

6. Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy?

To still feel so energetic and good at 37 weeks pregnant. Sure I am sore and can't sleep for longer than 1 hour stretches but I really expected to feel more "done" by now. That probably means that I'll be pregnant for 4+ more weeks and I'm jinxing myself.

7. If you could have any drink right now what would it be?

Lemondrop Martini (with the shaker so I can have refills :P)

On the unusual side of things: Atticus had a very complicated knot in his umbilical cord. DH figured out after how to tie the same knot and it is quite impressive what had to occur for it to be tied. DH and I are thankful that the knot didn't cause any issues.

3. Number one craving during this pregnancy? Peanut butter by the spoonful.

4. If you want more children, how long before you would consider trying to conceive again? 12 months minimum but probably closer to 18 months.

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO?I cannot wait until he is big enough for the boba carrier so I can wear him.

6. Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy? My water breaking on its own. That was a first.

7. If you could have any drink right now what would it be? Hot chocolate sweetened with maple syrup.

I personally would like to adopt our third, but DH would like one more biological child and then adopt. He has a lot of convincing to do, especially considering I wasn't exactly pampered this pregnancy.

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO? Nursing. It was just such a great experience with DS1 and I can't wait for all that cuddling.

6. Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy? I had morning sickness for the first 20 weeks or so which was new because I had it only until about 10 weeks last time.

7. If you could have any drink right now what would it be? Margarita, or some mimosas with brunch on a Saturday morning.

3. Number one craving during this pregnancy? Soy Sauce and Jalapeno's (Yes together) and everything had to be super cold. It was the best if it came in a slushy like consistency.

4. If you want more children, how long before you would consider trying to conceive again? The shop is closed after this pregnancy. This is number 5 for our family, and the hardest pregnancy by far! I'm having a tubal during my c-section and so very content with that decision.

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO? I'm just looking forward to snuggle time and watching her grow up. I can't wait to see her siblings love on her.

6. Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy? I have a separated pubic bone making mobility SOOO painful and being placed on modified bedrest at 26 weeks and going to full term.

7. If you could have any drink right now what would it be? Something frozen with a bunch of alcohol in it. A daiquiri sounds great!

SO/DH say or do anything funny? I had a RCS, so nothing really funny. I did keep coughing bc I felt like I was going to throw up before they started. They gave me meds thru my IV and I was instantly high....so high! Also, again, the worst part was that effing son of a bitchin IV. 3. Number one craving during this pregnancy? S&V chips, Heath bars, iced peppermint mochas. 4. If you want more children, how long before you would consider trying to conceive again? DH is 99% sure he's done....he just "so old" at 34, so if we waited 3 years like I would if we had another, he would be "over the hill"....ummmm....no. We are prob done having babies. 5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO? Going on a fun family vacation with just us 4 and our dog for the first time ever. 6. Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy? Morning sickness. That was awful. I also got the bug on 12/26 and threw up 15 times. 5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO? The squishy, cuddly newborn phase. I loved that so much with DS, and with us knowing that there will be no more babies, it'll be extra special.

6. Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy? Sciatic pain so bad that I can't be on my feet longer than 10-15 minutes at a time, and hemorrhoids so ridiculously severe that I've literally been lying around the house all day whining to DH that my ass hurts.

7. If you could have any drink right now what would it be? In the eternal words of Karen Walker, "Honey, I'd suck the alcohol out of a deodorant stick, so you're asking the wrong gal, okay?" (If I had to choose, though, I'd be probably be a margarita on the rocks, extra salt, but it would need to be the size of a small lap dog.)

My epi took more on my left side than my right, so my left leg was totally dead to me. It was seriously just flopping around when I tried to move. DH and I got a "kick" out of it.

3. Number one craving during this pregnancy?

No cravings really, just food aversions.

4. If you want more children, how long before you would consider trying to conceive again?

Undecided about if we're done having kids or not since now we have 1 of each. We'll give it a few years before we talk about it again for sure.

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO?

I love the "new baby smell" and the laughs and smiles while they sleep. Also, I'm not going to lie, since she'd already here I'm really looking forward to when she's a bit older of a baby and sleeps through the night!!

Labor this time was longer than last time. Since mine was very quick last time, I was preparing for an even quicker labor this time, which didn't happen.

Leaky boobs! I knew it would happen some, but I didn't expect to wake up and have soaked through my shirt or leak when I sneeze!

My DH was legitimately concerned when Maddox was born with a tad bit of a cone head. I guess nobody had told him it happens. Haha he looked at me and my Doc and asked us what was wrong with his head.

2 years. But if something happens before then, we will be happy about it.

I can't wait to make him laugh and smile. He is so perfect. we can't wait to get him into sports too.

I didn't expect to lose all my pregnancy weight before the two week mark! I'm doing a happy dance and looking forward to being able to work out again.

3. Number one craving during this pregnancy? - Did not crave anything in particular at all.

4. If you want more children, how long before you would consider trying to conceive again? - Probably 2 or 2.5 yrs. We can't afford two in daycare at once, and they go to school full-time at 4yrs here. So the goal would be to have the second when this LO is over 3 so that he can be home during the 1 yr Mat leave for the new baby, then straight to school once I go back to work.

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO? - meeting him! Just seeing what he looks like and holding him!

Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy? - I kind of thought that I would struggle with keeping my weight gain within the suggested range because I used to be overweight and lost over 50 pounds about a year before my BFP. So I've been surprised at how my body didn't go back to it's old ways, and I've managed to stay healthy the whole pregnancy!

7. If you could have any drink right now what would it be?

- an entire bottle of white wine.

1) Owen and Gabriel (nn Gabe) are our top choices 2) Still pregnant 3) Any type of dessert...I am so thankful I didn't have GD! 4) prior to Friday, I would have said air to start trying until this LO is about 12-18 months. However, since Friday I've been battling severe hemorrhoids making me want to say one and done (which DH agrees with). 5) I've been waiting a long time to become a mom. Looking forward to all the sweet snuggles and watching LO grow up. 6) I now realize how "easy" this pregnancy has been. I was expct a lot worse. I really lucked out until these hemis started to kick my ass 7) A large glass of wine or a margarita! ETA: bumping from my iPad. Sorry for the poor formatting!

Noah for the first, undecided on the middle. It is the ONLY boy name we like this time around!

Haven't had him yet. Don't remember much from my first delivery because I was exhausted and then had a crash section. I do recall squeamish DH saying he peeked over the curtain and wished he hadn't. I was like yeah, YOU had it real rough!

Sugar. All the sugar.

4. If you want more children, how long before you would consider trying to conceive again?

Pretty sure this is our last... If not, probably 18 months like this time, maybe closer to 2 years.

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO?

I can't wait until he is old enough to play and interact with DS!

I didn't anticipate being so damn uncomfortable. Way worse than last time. And I have had insomnia since getting a BFP.

Still baking but I loved seeing the tears in my husbands eyes when my daughter was born, especially since he has all brothers and boy cousins. I know a girl freaked him out a bit but I will never forget his face. I fell in love with him all over again in that moment.

Cinnamon toast crunch and apples with peanut butter.

Probably not too long since I will be 33 in two weeks. Hubby thinks we might be done but I'm not so sure.

Watching my daughter interact with her new sibling. She will be such a great big sister!

How sad I would be about DD's misbehavior near the end. I'm heartbroken these are my last days alone with her and she is so ornery. Also so terrified when she got the flu really bad. Scared me to death. Made me wonder if I could really handle 2.

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO? I'm honestly looking forward to breastfeeding and holding the baby! I can hardly wait!!!!!

6. Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy? I never thought I'd need medicine to get through morning sickness. I've had morning sickness with all of my pregnancies, but my other 3 were more of a watch what I eat, or munch all day long, and it went away after 1st tri. This time around, I was 17 weeks when I finally got Zofran. The ability to eat more than a couple crackers was amazing!!!

7. If you could have any drink right now what would it be? Something to settle my stomach. I had onion rings, and they aren't agreeing with me.

Other than that, I've been craving Lime-a-ritas lately.

I haven't experienced it yet, but I'm having a water birth and my midwife said I may poop in the water and advised us to get a fish net so DH can fish it out. Im having poop anxiety.

William Alexander. I've gotten so attached to the name even though I found out it's pretty much the most common name ever last year.

Haven't had him yet. Slowly trying to convince DH not to call anyone till LO is already here though.

3. Number one craving during this pregnancy?
MEAT oh my god I thought I was going werewolf the first few months. And I never did stop eating things med-rare.

4. If you want more children, how long before you would consider trying to conceive again?

4-5 years? Maybe longer? It all depends on our financial situation, LO may be an only child.

5. What is something you are really looking forward to doing with your new LO?
I'm physically aching that I can't hold and rock him RN. I've felt like this every night it's like one of my friggen arms is missing. I'm also looking forward to his first bath.

6. Name one thing that you didn't expect to happen or experience during this pregnancy?
I didn't expect to not gain much weight. 10-15 pounds total. I also didn't expect to throw up the first 7 months so there's the trade off.

7. If you could have any drink right now what would it be?

A margarita! I've never had one and they always look so good on menus and stuff.

@joynalanson - I live in Canada, we are entitled to 1 year which can be split between the two parents if desired (in our case, I will be taking it all). I'll actually be off for 13 months because our employers are required to continue providing all benefits during the leave period, so I still accumulate the 4 weeks of holidays I would have earned if I was still working, which I'm tacking on to the end of my leave.
