Astham and Delivery???

I have asthma and that puts me in the "high-risk" area, I was wondering if anyone knows what are my chances of having a c-section? I have asked my DR but she has not gotten back to me yet... I was just wondering if anyone else know what my chances might be...

    I have asthma and wasn't considered high risk. I had a normal vaginal delivery. Good luck

    How serious is your asthma? I have asthma and was never considered high risk, but it was under control during my pregnancy.  I used oxygen a little during labor, but I think even non-asthmatics sometimes do that also.  I would think if yours is under control, it wouldn't increase your chances for a c-section any more than any other woman. 

    Of course, an emergency c-section is called that for a reason, because it's unplanned, and if things start becoming dangerous for you or the baby, the doctors are going to do what they need to,
