My water broke - looks like it's baby time

I thought this baby would be late like his brother, but he has his own plan. 

My water broke at 8:30pm EST while I sat on the couch.  I felt a sharp period cramp pain then a bubble of liquid, so I shot off of the couch and jumped onto the tile by our back door.  DH watched me do this, then I finally said "my water just broke" and he jumped up like the energizer bunny.  

I had no contractions prior to my water breaking, now they are coming about every 7-10 minutes apart and are manageable but definitely painful.  They feel like a bad period cramp.  

We're hoping for an at home VBAC, but are prepared for anything.  

I will try update when I can. Hopefully he will be here soon!
